Full Branding Kit with Guidelines
For The West Coast Academy of Irish Dance, Kinship Creative created a complete brand identity and custom Wix website that feels rooted in Irish tradition while remaining clean, distinctive, and modern.
The centerpiece of the brand is an intricate Celtic knot logo that thoughtfully weaves together the academy’s initials, surrounding mountains, and the movement of the ocean. Its emblem-style composition was intentionally designed to feel familiar within the competitive Irish dance community while giving the academy a recognizable identity of its own.
Every visual detail supports that balance of heritage and individuality. I developed a custom plaid inspired by the dancers’ uniforms, paired striking black-and-white photography with elegant typography, and avoided clichéd Irish imagery. The final branding and one-page website feel sophisticated, cohesive, and unmistakably connected to the academy, giving this growing Irish dance school a strong foundation for competitions, performances, student enrollment, and long-term brand recognition.
